Our high-quality stainless steel straws will last a lifetime and help save the environment. Say “NO!” to disposable plastic straws!
Made from 304-grade stainless steel, these straws won’t rust, break or corrode. They are dishwasher safe which makes cleaning a breeze (but we do also retail metal straw brushes which can be used to aid in the cleaning process).
Our straws are:
- Made from food grade stainless steel.
- Have a length of 205mm.
- Have a diameter of 6mm (internal diameter is 5mm).
- Feature softly rounded ends.
You can choose from either straight straws, or straws with a 45 degree bend to them. Or, add some of both to your cart!
Why choose metal straws over plastic?
Plastic straws don’t biodegrade… instead, they sit in a landfill for a millennium or end up in the sea where they are confused for food and eaten by wildlife. On the other hand, stainless straws can be used repeatedly (just think how long you’ve been using your kitchen cutlery). If you ever do decide to get rid of them, they can be thoroughly cleaned and then gifted away. Or, easily recycled as they have value as scrap.
What about paper straws?
Paper straws are another alternative, but we don’t really recommend them. They aren’t reusable like metal straws and must be disposed of after one or two uses. It’s true that they are much better for the environment as they don’t create waste (they biodegrade), but, they use a lot of energy to be made (and our planet still predominantly uses coal and oil for energy generation).
